Shipping and Packing Charges:
All orders will be boxed or crated for shipping. Shipping LTL via semi-truck is our standard way to ship. Freight charges are based on destination zip code, location, item(s), weight, and required delivery services. They represent our cost from our preferred carriers. Packing and shipping costs will be calculated when your order is acknowledged. Shipping is to the continental United States. Please contact us to inquire regarding shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, or Canada.
Delivery Time:
We will advise lead times on all orders at the time the order is placed with us. Please contact us for estimated delivery quotes and to inquire about our ability to comply with rush orders. Delivery time for all commercial orders is quoted individually.
UPS Delivery:
Small orders ship via UPS. All orders shipping UPS must be shipped to a physical address, not a P.O. Box. Larger items will be shipped motor freight delivery.
Standard Residential Freight Delivery:
Delivery is not available to all residential locations. If eligible, La Lune Standard Shipping delivers via semi-truck to the curb. Heavier items may require your assistance to unload. Freight deliveries will arrive on a pallet and/or in boxes of which you are responsible to dispose. Curbside delivery does not include: bringing items inside, unpacking, placing the furniture, or moving it up or down stairs.
The carrier will contact you in advance to schedule a 4-hour delivery window. An adult must be present to receive and sign for the delivery. If you miss the delivery, the freight company will charge you an additional fee for redelivery. Delivery is not available on weekends or national holidays.
White Glove Delivery:
White Glove Delivery services are available in some areas and can include: inside delivery, placement in your room of choice, assembly, and the removal of all packing materials. Additional charges apply. Please contact us to confirm availability and pricing for White Glove service in your area.
Expedited & Direct Transit:
For large time-sensitive orders, we offer dedicated truck delivery direct from our factory. Transit time is typically reduced to several days, depending on the destination. Delivery can be made to a commercial or residential address. A crew must be available on-site to assist with unloading and bringing the furniture inside. Damaged or Lost Merchandise:
Please inspect all merchandise carefully before signing the delivery receipt (the Bill of Lading). In the unlikely event of damage please note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing and save all packing materials. If the shipment is not delivered in accordance with the quantity of packages shown on the delivery receipt do not sign for or accept the shipment until such shortages are noted on the delivery receipt (the Bill of Lading). Please contact us for assistance with any damage or returns. Claims for loss or damage are valid only when La Lune is notified within three days from the delivery date.
